Engineered Timber Solutions (ETS) is a division of Fletchers Distribution Limited, wholly owned by Fletcher Building, New Zealand's largest building materials business.

Engineered Timber Solutions was established in June 2005 to distribute the Hyne range of

Engineered wood products, on the New Zealand market, providing sales, distribution, marketing and technical assistance. Engineered Timber Solutions also distributes the Pryda range of fixings and our Rimboard.

We endeavour to provide a full service including design for floor and roofs, estimates, supply and delivery of the products which you require and after sales service.

Hyne and Son Pty Limited manufacture our range of engineered wood products in Australia and supply to Engineered Timber Solutions in an exclusive distribution agreement.

Hyne and Son Pty Limited, established in 1882, is now Australia's largest and most successful privately owned timber company. Hyne Timber have extensive interests in timber processing, wholesaling and exporting. They have operations extending from Cairns in the far North of Queensland through New South Wales and to Melbourne in Victoria.

They pride themselves on the quality control, and initiative they display in product development making them the market leaders in engineered wood products in Australia and New Zealand.

Hyne Timber is proud that its timber and timber products are produced from sustainably managed forests. Hyne engineered timber beams are made from Queensland grown Pinus elliottii (slashpine) which has superior strength and stiffness properties in comparison to the New Zealand grown pine. This means that the Hyne engineered timber beams have a superior strength over the New Zealand equivalent.
