Hyne I-Beam
Being an engineered wood product, Hyne I-Beams are a higher performing option as they allow greater spans. Hyne I-Beams span further than solid timber sections of the same depth.
Hyne I-Beams are less than half the weight of comparable solid timber sections and are therefore easier to handle, making installation quicker. No mid span blocking is required when Hyne I-Beams are used saving time during construction. The design of the I-Beams allows for easy installation of services through the web.
Description:
Manufactured at the Hyne plant in Brisbane, Hyne-I-Beams are produced using high performance finger jointed pine flanges and 9.5mm structural OSB webs.
All components are assembled using only durable, exterior grade adhesives.
Hyne I-Beam is available untreated or treated to H3.1 from stock. Advantages: Dimensional stability, lightweight, long spanability, elimination of mid-span blocking in floor joists.Applications: Floor joists, rafters.Section sizes: 200x90 up to 360x90Available lengths: 1.2 up to 11.7 m in 0.3 increments.Availability: Generally available.
